Our Founder
James Jones
James is the founder and lead executive consultant of The JKT Financial Group, LLC. JKT is an operational and financial consulting firm. He also serves as president of JKT Packaging Solutions, LLC. Utilizing tremendous in-house expertise in lean manufacturing, financial prudence and asset management, the team helps companies streamline their packaging operations, increase throughput, improve safety as well as source packaging/logistic needs. The company has successfully negotiated over $75 million in supplier contracts. Specializing in the sourcing of containerboard, paperboard, corrugated packaging, printed/non-printed poly film and industrial grade hemp, the company also has a vast international network of supplier partners spanning from North America to Asia.
James has over 20 years in manufacturing management including 15 in the corrugated industry and 10+ years of Senior and C-Level management experience. Prior to his consulting career, he was President of Texcorr (a Texas-based 80,000 ton per year corrugated sheet manufacturer) until 2014. Prior to Texcorr, he lead Smurfit-Stone’s Operational Excellence team. His career began with The Boeing Company as a Lead Engineer eventually leading to factory management. He then went onto eCommerce as a Senior Ops Manager for Amazon.com, Inc. He currently leads JKT’s supplier negotiations, contract negotiations, throughput improvement and performance management efforts.
James is very active in his community, serving as a Board Member for Food Share of Ventura County (www.foodshare.com a food bank servicing the people of Ventura County), and BPeace (www.bepeace.org a nonprofit consulting organization which helps businesses in conflict torn nations improve their revenue in order to create jobs).
